  • New offerings with a list price at 50% of the primary server of the same size lowers the cost of implementing redundant HMI systems.
Improved presentation of SQL server data to operators
  • New SQL database connector and Data Grid object provide both terminal-based and mobile operators with access to the data they need to make good decisions.
FactoryTalk® Alarms and Events enhancements
  • Version 12 provides the operator with access to automatic device diagnostics such as disconnected I/O or fault messages that are generated by the Logix controller in a system.
  • Automatic Diagnostics are supported in Studio 5000 Logix Designer version 33 ControlLogix® 5580 controllers, CompactLogix™ 5480, and CompactLogix 5380 controllers.
Support for Scalable Vector Graphic (SVG) objects
  • SVG objects provide operators with a better visual representation of the system they are working with, and make it easier for designers to resize images to the desired height and width.
  • New Symbol Factory 3.0 provides an enhanced SVG object library with graphic content easily adopted for graphic displays.
